Achieving India’s energy shift, the national strategic goal to preserve the environment, the activity of using Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) in vehicles has expanded as an environmentally friendly (clean) fuel, to reduce combustion exhaust of liquid fuel by gradual replacement of natural gas for vehicles. In addition, the wider use of natural gas as a fuel for cars contributes to reducing pressure on the country’s economy spending more on conventional fuels petrol, diesel & LPG. CNG vehicle adoption is expected to displace 60 MT of conventional fuel by fiscal 2030.
